It’s a new year…
Welcome to 2025. We hope this year is a happy, peaceful and fulfilling one for you all. We were approached by a lady over Xmas , who was visiting from overseas. She wanted and needed some ‘healing’ (her words). As she had limited time, we organised for her to come and meet the herd last week. She found the experience powerful and profound and kindly wrote the testimonial below. We look forward to seeing everybody again this year and seeing what we can achieve together
Testimonial :
Have you ever had one of those chaotic days where everything seems to go wrong? That was me. I was stuck in traffic, got lost, my phone died, and the ATM wouldn’t work. I was running an hour late, overwhelmed and emotional after saying goodbye to my sister and her family. I almost turned the car around so many times. All I could think was, this equine practitioner is going to think I’m completely nuts, and she’ll be so annoyed at me. But as I drove up Annie’s driveway, something shifted. Annie had taken a day out of her holidays to see me, and from the moment she greeted me with her warm smile, my heart started to settle.
What followed was beyond anything I expected. Annie’s facilitation was extraordinary, and the herd was remarkable. Halo, a beautiful horse at the bottom of the pecking order, chose to work with me. He helped me confront a fear I’ve carried for so long—something tied to confidence and people-pleasing. In just one session, with Annie’s incredible guidance and Halo’s gentle wisdom, I felt like I worked through something that might have taken months with traditional methods. Time seemed to stop, and the experience was so profound, it felt like a retreat condensed into a few hours.
I’m still integrating the lessons, but I can already feel a lightness, a shift toward ease and grace. These horses are pure love—patient, kind, and so in tune. I’ll cherish this experience and can’t wait to return. If you’re struggling with something close to your heart, call Annie at Hamer Equine Assisted Learning . You’ll be held in a safe, compassionate space and come out with more clarity, confidence, and peace. Just do it!”
